Meeting Florida's Needs, in Tampa and Beyond
Helping the Helpers in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Hernando, and beyond...
Caring for others is a deeply fulfilling, yet often exhausting experience. But when you're constantly giving, it can feel like there’s nothing left for yourself. The weight of others’ needs, the never-ending demands, and the pressure to always be "on" can leave you feeling physically drained, emotionally overwhelmed, and anxious. It’s as if the more you care, the less energy and peace you have to give yourself.
The constant cycle of pouring from an empty cup can make you feel isolated, disconnected, and unsure of how to reclaim the balance that once felt so natural. It's okay to feel this way—it's a sign that your mind and body need care too. Together, we can explore how to reset, recharge, and restore the balance you deserve.
What to Expect & FAQs
I understand how challenging it can be to seek help when you're struggling—I've been there myself. That's why I approach every client with empathy and respect, recognizing you as an equal partner in this journey. Together, we’ll explore your feelings of exhaustion and emptiness and work towards reinvigorating your life, finding balance and fulfilment in your day to day. Whether it’s sharing a laugh or giving you space to process your sorrow, I’m here to support you in being fully yourself.
I use a range of integrated methods to help you achieve your highest potential because I know that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. We’ll collaborate to identify your unique struggles and future goals, crafting a personalized and holistic approach tailored to your needs. My goal is to ensure our work together is both collaborative and supportive.

Please click on any of the following to learn more about some methods I use, but please know this list is not exhaustive! This list is simply for those who are curious what all this counseling jargon entails:
Are You In-Person or Online?
What Do Your Letters Mean?
The answer is simply, "yes!". I have a cozy office located in downtown St. Petersburg for those who desire in-person sessions. A map of the area can be found at the bottom of this site. For those who are too far from St. Pete, do not stress! TeleHealth services make accessing counseling easiest! There is no concern about trying to beat traffic or get gas. You don't need to miss an appointment because you're unsure if your sniffles are allergies or a cold. Your kids can be nearby if needed. I have had individuals log in lounging on couches, sitting on their beds, or even sitting on the floor of their bathrooms. I don't care if you're in your PJs or in formal wear. All I need from you is to be able to see your face and hear your voice, and we are on the way to better days ahead.

An excellent question that requires a bit of an explanation! The wording is misleading to the public and is being fought in the Florida House as of this writing. Despite holding a graduate degree, completing hundreds of hours of counseling under supervision, passing rigorous exams, and holding a provisional license from the Florida Board of Mental Health, my designation means "Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern." However, an RMHCI is not an intern at all. We are fully graduated and have our own provisional licenses. All that stands between us and updated designations are further hours and weekly reporting to a qualified supervisor to ensure I am meeting the best ethical care standards. My supervisor is Erica Zeno, LMHC.
Hopefully, the state of Florida will join other states in updating their designation and make it more clear, so that the public is not mislead in their search for quality care.
